Working With À Law Carte

How does the À Law Carte process work?

First, review our list of services and areas of expertise to ensure we are a good fit.

Next, contact us here or call us directly to schedule a consultation. When we confirm your appointment, you’ll be asked to provide basic information about your question, as well as any supporting documents, which are uploaded to our secure case management system.

At the time of your appointment, our lawyers will contact you and begin your consultation.

How much are your services?

A half-hour call is $150. A full hour is $300. For additional services, such as legal document prep or limited scope representation, the fee will be estimated and discussed during your initial call.

At what stage in the legal process can I contact À Law Carte?

Anytime. You can be in the midst of a trial or simply wanting to know more about a subject.

Even if your court date is rapidly approaching, speaking with a member of our team can assist you in last-minute preparation to strengthen your case and provide you with a valuable second opinion.

If I am already represented by a lawyer, can I talk to you?

Yes, you are always entitled to a second opinion. So long as there is no conflict of interest (which our team determines during booking), we are happy to help you with your legal matter.

What if I want to hire you to do more?

You can always book another 30-minute or 1-hour call with our team after your initial consultation. We also offer legal document preparation. In some cases, we may be able to offer limited representation or schedule courtroom preparation with you.

Can you represent me?

For some cases, limited representation is an option. We would need to speak with you during a 30-minute consultation to learn more about your issue, opposing party, and upcoming court dates to determine availability.

For full representation, you may be referred to our partner law firm, ARTEMiS.

Can I have a refund if I cancel my appointment?

Refunds are available if you cancel your appointment 48-hours or more before your scheduled call. Cancellations and rescheduling is easily done through your email confirmation.

We do not offer refunds for no-shows or cancellations made fewer than 48-hours before your appointment except for extenuating circumstances.
